  26.    Shareware (also known as user supported software and other names) is a
  27.    concept not understood by everyone.  The authors of Shareware retain all
  28.    rights to the software under the copyright laws while still allowing
  29.    free distribution.  This gives the users the chance to freely obtain and
  30.    try out software to see if it fits their needs.  Shareware should not be
  31.    confused with Public Domain software even though they are often obtained
  32.    from the same sources.

  34.    If you continue to use Shareware after trying it out, you are expected
  35.    to register your use with the author and pay a registration fee.  What
  36.    you get in return depends on the author, but may include a printed
  37.    manual, free updates, telephone support, etc.  Only by paying for the

  39.    support his software and create new programs.

  51.    domain by the author.  You can use freeware without charge of any
  52.    kind.  Digital salutes freeware authors for their generosity with
